| Customer Reviews: Believe Martin Chinn August 30, 2009 Gavin Heinly (Orlando, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't understand why the other users claim theirs worked out. When I got mine, I tried to put it on my PSP and it never clips in. That's pretty useless, if you ask me. It's supposed to keep the battery in place and if it can't do that it isn't much good. It isn't even molded to fit around the PSP (it's a bit wider than the body of the PSP). In addition, he's right about the color (it's off-color compared to the PSP, I'd say it's more cream than ceramic). Don't buy this product if you have a PSP-2000, it is a dud. Definitely cheap but you get what you pay for to be sure.
overall not bad August 19, 2009 Karsten Kane (Maryland) This item is not exceptional or anything, but for less than a buck its well worth considering. It does the job at a fair price, and eliminates the need to use the black or silver door with the extended battery pack.
As for what the "one star" customer said, at first I too noticed the plastic was not as white as the system. however after the first day I didn't even notice enough to remember that fact until I read the review. It's really not that different.
P.S. you might want to consider buying with other items from the same vendor to see if you can combined shipping costs.
Don't waste your money; they aren't any good at all August 14, 2009 Martin Chinn (San Jose, CA) I just picked these up and the cost probably should have tipped me off but what I got today was a very shoddy product. Neither of the covers stay on very well and the battery just dropped down to the ground out through the cover. I've tried everything to secure them and just to make sure I popped in my old cover and it's just fine so it's definitely the covers. On top of that, the color does not match the ceramic white PSP. The covers are white, but it's got a dirtier/aged looked to the white and is not as bright and clean as the PSP. Avoid at all cost because it neither looks right nor works.
A Must! May 28, 2008 Andrew Wong (Bay Area, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you've got a ceramic white PSP and want to use the extended battery pack, but was holding back because of the lack of a white door, then these battery doors are for you! The small door can replace the default door, if you don't like the Vader graphic, and the large door works with the 2200 mAh extended battery from Sony's extended battery package. Both doors fit perfectly, just like the stock one. At five dollars, these doors are an absolute steal!
