Product Description The Ear Force XLC is a stereo headset with mic that allows the player to both listen to gameplay in stereo as well as chat with other on-line players. The XLC can be plugged directly into the Xbox 360 audio outs, or into the television monitor's amplified headset out jack. Pump up the volume without disturbing friends, family or neighbors. Hear every nuance of the game - from an opponent sneaking behind you to your teammates' voices right next to you. Become a better player by hearing every detail in the game along with the voices of online players chatting on XBOX LIVE. Conveniently adjust the game sound level with the built-in volume control and set the chat level from your XBOX setup screen. Blast the game volume without the aggravation of game audio bleeding into the chat mic from external speakers. Noise-reduction ear cushions help block out noise so you can concentrate on the game without distractions. Trash talk online. It's everything you need for an amazing gaming experience. Features:
- Soft, cushioned noise-reduction ear cushions that help block out noise.
- Folding, multi-pivot design for portability.

- Comfortable for long play sessions.
- High fidelity 40mm speakers in earcups.

Pretty good. September 7, 2010 CJ These headphones are good if you are playing off line or games that dont have loads of dependency for game chat. Great if you are on a tight budget or starting to experience gaming, or have games that you play at night and your wife is wanting you to play with the sound off because you play the speakers in the house too loud.
If you have money to spend on headphones, don't get these. spend a little more for one up from these.
headset September 6, 2010 Kenneth the headset was working perfecctly fine for the first couple of days then they just crapped out on me
Ear Force XLC headset September 6, 2010 dave Had problem initially with cable provided with headphones. Turtle Beach customer service sent us a replacement cable right away. Headphones work better now.
Dont Bother If You Dont Have A Headphone Jack. September 3, 2010 BryGuy This is a great product BUT....dont bother if you dont have a headphone jack on your tv, cause you have to use an RCA spliter adapter, and using this adapter chops the volume of the game coming through the headset in HALF. To me this defeats the entire purpose of owning this thing. SO BEFORE YOU BUY THIS check to see if your TV has a headphone jack, if not, spend the extra money to get the next model up. I recieved this headset last night and experienced this all for myself and realized you need the amplified headset when using the rca spliter, which he XLC does not offer. Im returning this today and buying the X11.
DO NOT BUY FOR MODERN WARFARE 2 September 2, 2010 duuudemaaan When I looked at this headset I thought this would be perfect for me I am a casual gamer I love mw2 and I really wanted a headset to hear footsteps. So I thought these would be perfect... I was wrong
When I first got them they hurt my hears because they just sit on them and if you wear glasses like me its worse. You can hear footsteps in mw2 but you do not know where they are coming from so thats pretty much useless if you buy it for mw2
